Crouchstock '09 Sponsorship Information

What does Crouchstock support?

Crouchstock is the annual fundraiser for The Jacob Crouch Foundation whose mission is, “To establish suicide prevention and awareness through education in Jacob’s memory.”

What are the Jacob Crouch Foundations goals with my donation?

  • Continue to sponsor Suicide Prevention Week
    • As of 2006, due to the progressive and proactive efforts of the Jacob Crouch Foundation, City Parish President has proclaimed that Lafayette Parish officially recognizes a week for suicide prevention for the Acadiana area.
  • Fund billboard messages regarding the reality of suicide and national hot-line help number.
  • Maintain an informative website for survivors and information seekers
    • The Jacob Crouch Foundation has created and continues to operate a website for anyone seeking information about suicide, volunteer information, as well as any potential donations.
    • JCF will continue to operate this website and adapt the site to the trends of young adults as the internet continues to be a great medium for reaching out to a broad group on individuals
  • The Jacob Crouch Foundation is committed to covering the cost of Board members and local area counselors that would like to be trained in ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Training), a nationally recognized training program. The training is required for anyone who wants to properly assist anyone dealing with suicide thoughts. What are the benefits of sponsorship?
